out of 200, only 10 didn't bloom the first year

First year, a variance in heights from 4' to a few at 18", but all give a very impressive show. Bees and hummingbirds love them.

I planted these a couple weeks ago and got a package of 100 and all of them but 2 came up so that is really cool. I'm excited to see them continue to grow and buy more items from this company, Because I've never used them before and the plants look great and they do give you a guarantee and that's really nice..

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Poor germination

Submitted 2 years ago

By Natalia

From Central Ohio

Started them indoors weeks before putting them out. Very poor germination, out of 100 I have 15 that actually made it. Some are starting to bloom, some probably will not this year. I contacted the company and received a partial refund, great customer service.

Unfortunately 90% of the bulbs didn't grow

Submitted 2 years ago

By Up north gardener

From Wisconsin

The bulbs were smaller than others purchased on other online companies. 90% of the bulbs did not grow. I reported this before and I see my post was deleted. Bulbs from other sites were healthy and grew. The company did give me a credit which I used for fertilizer.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Great Healthy Bulbs

Submitted 4 years ago

By Leslie Jones

From Kokomo Indiana

These bulbs arrived with green sprouts on most of them. I ordered a 100 so I examined them and all but a couple had mold on them. I planted them within a few days to make sure they took. They all seem to be coming up. I got tons of sprouts coming up through the ground. At first I thought I had planted my last section too deep, but they soon sprouted after all. Excited to see the mix of purple and white. Will be a great addition to my cut flower bouquets for my roadside flower stand.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Excellent performance and value

Submitted 4 years ago

By Elizak28

From Illinois 5b

These performed very well. Easy to plant. All true to description. 98% of them grew and I take blame for the others that didn't. I planted such a large quantity that a few weren't deep enough and heaved in the winter, so not KVBs fault. The butterflies and bees love them. The most affordable way to rapidly add these to your butterfly gardens.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I planted 80 of these too close together but they all came up and they were magnificent. Slow to bloom in 5B but worth the wait.
