Bitone yellow La Luna is a real eye opener in shades as bright as the midsummer sun and a large, fully double flower form, to boot. The striking blooms reach an impressive 10" across and deliver real wow factor to borders, feature gardens or cut-flower bouquets. But it's the color that really steals the show! Soft yellow petals are highlighted with splashes of a brighter yellow hue, giving a shimmering effect to the blooms. Huge, prolific blooms
All of my bulbs were late this year due to earwig infestation, but this is a great height and prolific bloomer. Wish it lasted a bit longer and I could get rid of brown edges but love it!
Large Stunning Blooms, but Slow
I have these in four different places. They took a hot minute to get going, but the gorgeous blooms got bigger and better throughout the season. They produced large clumps of tubers. The plants had no more than two or three blooms at a time, but they were stunning. Probably my favorite blooms of the season. Mine were a pale creamy yellow with brighter yellow lines in the petals
