Its striped flowers make Giant Crocus Pickwick (C. vernus) a popular choice for planting in containers, borders or edging. For the best effect, plant giant crocus in groups of a dozen or more. Giant crocus also look impressive when planted in groups of hundreds and thousands for naturalizing in the grass, woodlands, slopes and under trees.
