I wish to get 100 beautiful flowers

Submitted 2 years ago

By Ja

From Virginia

The flowers are beautiful despite it's not a true blue. As you can see it's purple. I held up 1 star for the fact of not getting 100 blooms from 100 bulbs I planted.

The plants came up very healthy and then the flower stocks came just a bit later but, only a few of them. Probably had five flowering stocks bloom total out of 100 bulbs. Wished they all bloomed, because the few that did, were very pretty.

Beautiful but nothing blue about it

By Flower Lady

From Wa.

This glad is stunning with huge flowers and 2 foot long bracts but it is not blue. It is purple, a deep dark purple. Looks nothing like the catalog picture ( see my photo). Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.

Most of them grew and bloomed. I planted them in different gardens with different amounts of daily sun exposure and they all bloomed at different time. The first bloomed early in the summer and I just cut the last ones to take inside last week.
