From early summer to early fall, an abundance of silvery to icy blue flowers appear over vigorously spreading plants. Darker veining adds dimension to the lovely blooms. The rounded, marbled foliage looks amazing during the growing season, and even more spectacular in fall when it turns to shades of rich bronze. I received this as a bare root (ordered 2 plants)-- the plant itself was like a small dark bulb, didn't appear to be alive, roots and everything about the plant was dark dark dark.. I planted it about one month ago -- so far no signs of growth. The top part (exposed) also seems dead. When is this plant supposed to show signs of growth -- how and where? I am in zone 7
