Destined to become as popular as its parent! A highly anticipated sport of the renowned Tête-à-Tête daffodil, Tête Bouclé is one of the most requested varieties in today's flower markets. Fragrant, fully double blooms of rich golden yellow grow readily in the very early part of spring, sometimes growing up through late winter snow. Makes an excellent pairing with other early season perennial, such as colorful crocus, in borders, rock gardens or feature beds. Naturalizes like a dream.

These beautiful double blooms are beginning to bloom now. They are 6 inches tall with one flower per stem and multiple stems per bulb. They are a great addition to my species tulips since chipmunks won't dig them up like the tulip bulbs.

Questions & Answers

Q&A

Showing 2 out of 2 Questions

Q
Can daffodils tolerate acidic soil? Where can I find each variety's acid tolerance or should I just introduce sufficient lime to get closer to neutral Ph?
Asked by Daffy
Verified Reply - AngelaWe don't typically list a suggest soil pH for plants unless it is a very specific need. Most plants will have a decent range of tolerance. Daffodils prefer a pH of about 6 to 7 but have a wider tolerance. If your soil is slightly acidic, I would not add lime. We suggest performing a soil test before adding lime to prevent creating a soil that is too alkaline for plants to thrive. Was this answer helpful to you
