of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Tahiti is an exotic beauty with plenty to offer. Vibrant golden yellow blooms are shot through with brilliant red petaloids at the center for a uniquely artistic look perfect for presentation beds and entryway gardens where visitors can see them up close. The fragrant flowers are substantial and large—growing 4-4½" wide on 18-20" stems in mid to late spring. A masterpiece of form and flair, Tahiti makes an excellent cut flower to be enjoyed indoors or given as a gift in a mixed seasonal bouquet.

First time purchasing from a supplier vs the big box stores. Wowza!! These Tahiti daffodils don't disappoint. I will purchase more this year. Color is rich and the bulbs lasted quite awhile in a vase. They are tall-as stated in description and bloomed prolifically.

Buy! Buy! Lovely Bright Flower Cheer Up Your Yard!

From Tuckahoe NY

We planted these last fall before thanksgiving. We used mulch and your bulb food. Early spring they sprouted and grew quickly. They are large and sturdy. Very pretty and bright. The blooms lasted a month. We never had luck with daffodils and these were a happy surprise. Buy them you will not be disappointed. We also bought orange juice and cheerful double Gardinia daffodils mixed them altogether and they all grew beautifully.

Absolutely amazing color and ALL came up and bloomed even though I planted them very late winter (yes, I DO know when they are supposed to go in but life got in the way). Honestly, if they had not bloomed, it would have been my fault so I was very surprised with the show they put on! They are late blooming variety when most of my daffodils are done so they really stand out! LOVE, love, love these!

Added 25 of these to the ones I had bought the previous year. They performed so well and even survived a mid-April snow we had in Ohio.

Questions & Answers

Q&A

Showing 3 out of 3 Questions

Q
Can I plant these in containers? And if I can, do I leave them in that container over the Summer for next Spring? Can I remove them and how do I store them?
Asked by NP1
Verified Reply - AngelaYou can plant the Double Daffodil Tahiti bulbs in containers. You can leave them in the containers over the summer. In the winter, smaller pots should be moved to an unheated garage or basement. You can also just move the pot close to the house and mulch over with leaves or straw. Just remember to remove the mulch in the spring. If you want to remove the bulbs from the pot, wait until the foliage is completely brown. Pull up the bulbs, remove the dead foliage and and carefully brush off soil. Let them dry in a shady and cool spot for a week. Store in a paper sack or mesh bag in a cool, dark and dry location. Was this answer helpful to you
