Golden Delicious is a delectably refreshing daffodil with a luscious fragrance that is heartily long blooming in the garden, and quite long lasting in a vase. Plus, it blooms with absolute abandon, producing up to 8 flowers per stem. The small-cupped blooms attract plenty of attention when they appear in mid spring borders, cutting gardens and mass plantings. Golden Delicious naturalizes well and returns yearly with little to no special care.

Not Golden Delicious! Wrong daffodil and wrong bloom-time
I'd ordered Golden Delicious specifically because it's an early-blooming daffodil that I wanted to coordinate with my other early spring flowers and fade before my tulips came into bloom. The bulbs I planted looked healthy and bloomed well, but they were a completely different jonquil - they're late-blooming and lack the doubled look of Golden Delicious. Normally I wouldn't be too upset since they are healthy and pretty, but this does mess up the color scheme I'd planned for a particular bed. :/ Update: Added a star to my review for good customer service - KVB reached out and refunded my purchase via merchandise credit.

It's really Golden Delicious! Very cheerful and blooms last for a long time. Stems are strong- wind didn't break any of them. I did expect that orange eye as it shown in a picture and planted in the orange area, but they came all yellow. Nevertheless, they are gorgeous!
