I planted several dalias in organic top soil. Great drainage. They never became dinner late size, and also never had a bloom for more than a day.

The flowers are just like picture shown. It's prolific and relatively early bloomer. Very pretty. However, the flowers are more like 3-4 inches in diameter decorative kind, and the overall plant has 4-5 feet height.

is the dahlia setting sold as one bulb or as a cluster . I have had much better luck with clusters over single bulb .
