Presenting a new variety of a traditional favorite is a challenge at best, but Dubai Nights impresses gardeners, landscapers and flower pros alike! Bearing the classic, upright trumpet shape, the velvety, rich purple blooms appear nearly black and boast a creamy white outer margin. The overall effect is mesmerizing, especially when displayed in groups. Not to be outdone, the heavily speckled foliage is highly decorative in its own right. Ideal for patio planters, borders and cutting gardens. Very productive midsummer bloomer.

Are these flowers perennials

- Verified Reply - AngelaThe Calla Lily Dubai Nights is a tender bulb. It can be grown in USDA Hardiness Zones 3 to 10. Zones 3 to 8 will need to lift the bulb from the ground and store in a frost free location for winter. It can be planted again the following spring. Was this answer helpful to you

These were purple only one year. Now they are very light green with yellow stem. Foliage still beautiful but what do I need to do to regain purple color.

- Verified Reply - ViciGreen spathes are often the result of low light situations. Calla flower problems can also arise from excess nitrogen. Flowering plants need balanced fertilizers or ones that are slightly higher in phosphorus. High levels of nitrogen can retard the formation of blooms and cause green calla lily flowers.Was this answer helpful to you

Will these tolerate heat ? If so how hot! -- Calla lilies ? I I'm wondering how long if at all I would be able to enjoy these if planted in the garden or would they survive inside if I move them indoors when it gets super hot outside

- Verified Reply - AngelaThe Calla Lily Dubai Nights is well suited for your area. For best results, plant in a site that receives at least 4 to 6 hours of early sun and afternoon shade.
