The most blooms, but just not exciting

Submitted 2 years ago

From CT

For me, this plant blooms more than any other dahlia- but the colors are faded compared to pictures and wilt rather quickly. It just doesn't wow.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Unusual, not quite as fluffy as in catalog. Not a prolific bloomer.

Not a favorite

The flower of Que Sera is very attractive. However, the plant is lanky and ungainly in appearance. Tall, requiring a strong stake, it almost overpowered the smaller flower. I took these bulbs to the seed swap as I no longer wanted them in my garden.

Not completely like the picture but could be a difference in growing conditions. Still pretty and easy to use in bouquets.

Merchant Response

Thank you for your review. We were sorry to hear the Powder-Puff Dahlia Que Sera arrived in poor quality and the replacement did not meet your expectations. We were delighted to see that you were able to reach out one of our customer care team members for assistance with both matters.

I've never had good luck with dahlias because of where I bought them. These roots were wonderful, nice and big! It has been a HOT and dry year here in western Kansas. The dahlias have been blooming about a week now. They are gorgeous! Hopefully, the frost will hold off and I will get more blooms!
