Long-lasting, yet low-maintenance floral displays are what every gardener wants, but rarely achieves. It seems that an entire season's worth of blooms is accompanied by a season's worth of work to keep the flowers coming. We suggest offering Summer Skies Hardy Geranium to your clients and customers. This beautiful cultivar features glorious soft violet-blue, fully double flowers with dark veining and a hint of pale green at the center. The fragrant blooms appear in mid spring and continue to grace vigorous, drought-tolerant plants until late summer. Summer Skies is quite easy to grow and attracts butterflies to borders, container gardens and perennialized landscape sites with ease. PP10695

Definitely Hardy

From Oak Park, Illinois

I bought two bags of these, 6 plants, and failed to open the box for 2 weeks, big mistake, instructions said to open immediately. Nonetheless, I looked on line and saw that some people put these bare root plants in a pot inside. (We had been having freeze alerts when these arrived). I did that, put each of the plants in a custard cup in a reasonably sunny window and watered them. By now, three of these plants have shoots with green leaves, a 4th is just starting a shoot, and the 5th appears to have strong roots and will probably also survive. I love the color of these, they are just right for my zone, so I have ordered three more bags of these, but now, freezing weather is over. I'm going to start them inside in custard cups nonetheless and plant in the garden after I see green leaves.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
