Crimson Fans Mukdenia

We've added something new and unique to our perennial lineup! Crimson Fans Mukdenia is a gorgeous herbaceous plant that boasts rich green, maple-like leaves that age to bronze-green, and fan out nicely to show off the bright red streaks that appear at maturity. Early spring brings sprays of petite, white, bell-shaped blooms that add an airy note of whimsy to the substantial foliage below. Mukdenia makes an excellent ground cover, as well as a lovely addition to woodland areas. It also works well as a border or container garden accent.

New to north Texas!

Not many people and gardeners are familiar with this shade ground cover. It comes in root sprigs sealed in soiled plastic bags. Suggest fertilized, rich soil as base for planting, frequent initial watering, plant 2-3 feet apart, and keep soil loose around plant. Fairly slow growing. After 6 weeks, clusters starting to form. Slow spreading. Hopefully, at end of summer, clusters will be spreading more rapidly.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
