Cactus Dahlia China Town

Cactus Dahlia China Town

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
For customers that prefer something a little more daring in their garden space, suggest China Town. This unusual and exquisitely showy cactus dahlia deftly combines a remarkable form with bold color, resulting in a unique, 5" wide spiderlike bloom that is truly one of a kind. Thin, elongated red petals are punctuated with shorter ivory-white petals, creating a dynamite display that sizzles in sunny perennial borders and mixed cutting gardens. China Town boasts an extended bloom time, reliably flowering from July until September. Like other dahlias, cactus types are very quick and easy to grow. Lift in fall in zones 3-8.

Unique and prolific

Very cool looking dahlia that thrived and was very prolific despite heat waves and drought in zone 8b. Looks lovely alongside hapet day dream. I don't usually lift my dahlias but the tubers had grown substantially and even multiplied when I moved them in early winter.
