Decorative Dahlia Arbatax

Decorative Dahlia Arbatax

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Features a unique color pattern for dahlias. The soft-quilled, white petals bear defined pink edges, creating a very pretty, refined look. A prolific bloomer, Arbatax Decorative Dahlia starts producing midsized, 3½" flowers in midsummer and continues blooming until the first frost in the fall. Growing 36" tall, this decorative dahlia adds charm to the sunny garden—and the flowers look stunning in fresh-cut bouquets and arrangements. Decorative dahlias produce more, but smaller blooms than their dinnerplate cousins. Deer tend to avoid.

Gorgeous blooms.

Submitted 5 months ago

By Marilyn

Absolutely gorgeous! There was lots of variety in bloom color & pattern. Some of the blooms were almost white, while others were bright pink. Unfortunately, the plants didn't start blooming until August.

Q&A

Showing 2 out of 2 Questions

Q
When can you put bulbs in? Is October ok for this or is spring better? I'm thinking tulips I plant now is it the same with the Dalia Arbatax?
Asked by Chris
Verified Reply - AngelaDahlias are frost tender and can be planted in the spring after all danger of frost has passed. You will want to dig them up in the fall and store them in a frost free location for winter. They can be planted again the following spring. If you order now, we will ship the tubers in the spring. An estimated shipping date will be provided with your order confirmation email. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do you sell individual Dahlia tubers? Or do you pull them from the ground attached to the stalks, count the tubers, wait until an order comes in and sends the tubers still attached to the stalks? Often times the tubers get soft and won't grow. I want individual tubers separated from the stalks, stored, and then sent out.
