Q
To winter over a canna bulb should I store it in peat moss pr just uncovered by anything?
Asked by Cindy
Verified Reply - AngelaAfter the first light frost has killed the foliage, cut the stems back to about 5 inches. carefully dig up the the rhizomes. Brush off any loose soil and wrap in newspaper. You could also put them in dry peat moss or saw dust. You can keep them in a bucket or crate with the lid off for winter. They need to be in a cool but not freezing area with temperatures about 45-50 F. Was this answer helpful to you
