Glamini® Gladiolus Blondie

Glamini® Gladiolus Blondie

Snow white flowers illuminate the garden and look beautiful when paired with other colors. Glamini® Gladiolus Blondie grows just 24-26" tall, half the height of the old-fashioned glads, but still stands out at a distance. Since Glaminis are so short and naturally sturdy, they don't need to be staked, making them perfect for mixed borders, annual beds, tropical gardens, and even containers. Give them plenty of sun, well-drained fertile soil, and plant a batch of bulbs every other week in early spring for continuous gorgeous blooms. Deer tend avoid. Lift in the fall in zones 3-7.

I think I mistreated these bulbs. They were potted in a large pot that was then placed in the garden. Perhaps watering was uneven or they were overcrowded but the final display was weak. Not all bloomed and those that did were sparcely flowered. I will definitely try again.

I liked these gladiolus because they are short and don't fall over like the taller ones.

Absolutely beautiful. All of these came up and bloomed, I had not noticed in the pics that the stamens were light purple but man, do they make an impact. Excellent for floral work.

The bulbs were of good quality and most, if not all came up. Unfortunately they were not the color pictured. Mine were a reddish orange. I do love the smaller size of these. I was able to use them in arrangements

Q
I planted Glamini bulbs in the spring. They grew beautifully, but never bloomed. I just dug up the bulbs. They grew quite large and they put out multiple 1/4 inch bulbs. If I plant all these bulbs next year, will it grow?...and will it bloom?
Asked by vera
Verified Reply - AngelaIn my experience, you can expect the new bulbs to bloom next year. Allow them to dry before storing them in a frost free location. Was this answer helpful to you
