Casa Blanca Oriental Lily

Casa Blanca Oriental Lily

79%

Our most finest and popular white Oriental Lily, Casa Blanca features huge, fragrant, white flowers that measure 10-12" across. The flowers are stunning in bouquets and other fresh floral displays. The plants grow up to 48" tall and produce up to eight long-lasting blooms on each stem in late July through early August. In windy locations, the plants may need staking. Over the past few years, the demand and interest in Oriental Lilies has grown dramatically. Oriental Lilies are one of the most beautiful of all lilies and their fragrance permeates the garden air. These are the lilies that florists favor for summer bouquets and bridal centerpieces. Blooming later in the season than most other lilies, these exotic beauties are truly spectacular in color and flower size.

I really like the Casa Blanca variety of Oriental Lily. They are of medium height, grow and bloom consistently ... and will always be one of my choices to plant.

The experience was great! I received my bulbs and got them planted. They started to grow into strong, vibrant stalks. At the appropriate time, they made buds that were really nice a big and fat and I thought - WOW!! These are gonna be gorgeous. When they began to open - I was overjoyed by the glorious blooms that I saw! The color was the purist white and the fragrance was so powerful and wonderful! The blooms have been, overall, on the plant about a month! They died off so gracefully! Can't wait for the next season!

Garbage

Lousy plants. The 4 tiny stems that came up, yielded 3 tiny blooms that turned brown and wilted within a week. I am a Registered Horticulturist, Master Gardener, and have other Lillies thru-out my gardens. This product is beyond "lack-lustre".

Q
Hello! I just received a late Christmas gift of your Casablanca lilies. It's the dead of winter in New Hampshire USA. How should I store these for spring planting?, OR should I plant in a pot? Christine
Asked by Christine
Verified Reply - AngelaHi there. I would go ahead and plant those Casa Blanca Lily bulbs in pots. Water them at planting and then just enough to keep the soil from drying out completely. You may only need to water every 3-4 weeks. You can store the pots in an unheated garage or basement until spring. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
I need deer-resistant Lillies! Are these?
Asked by Grace
Verified Reply - AngelaI'm sorry but Oriental Lily Casa Blanca is not deer resistant. I am not aware of any deer resistant lilies. You might try the Amaryllis belladonna. They are said to be more deer resistant. https://www.dutchbulbs.com/product/Belladonna_AmaryllisWas this answer helpful to you
