The color combination on Double Jill Decorative Dahlia invites you to take a closer look. The 2-3", ball-shaped, yellow and white flowers are tinged with a red-pink blush. With their soft, quilled petals and vibrant colors, dahlias add a burst of color and life to your late-summer gardens—and they'll keep on blooming until the first fall frost. Growing 3-4' tall, these decorative dahlias produce more, but smaller blooms than their dinnerplate cousins. The mid-sized flowers are great for fresh-cut bouquets and arrangements.

FYI. Dahlias are not deer resistant everywhere. They eat the flower buds here in WA.

- Verified Reply - AngelaThat isn't good news. It's true that no plant is deer proof, just merely resistant if other food sources are available. You might try using some deer repellent spray or hot pepper next spring. The only fool proof way of keeping deer away from the flowers is a fence. Was this answer helpful to you
