Very disappointed

total disappointment. Plants where not very sturdy for their height, they were only about 20" tall but were falling over and the stems were very skinny hard to even stake, and only a few very small blooms. Only 3 tubers even bloomed just a few blooms. I had such great hopes for these in my garden this year. Felt like I wasted both money and time planting them.

In general, it was not the best dahlia year. However, this white ball was the exception. Multiple branches and blooms. Just perfect,!

Dahlias are easy to grow and they maintain their colors in the fall. They seem to grow faster and thrive more in the ground than in containers.

Q
For the Boom Boom White, are there 5 individual tubers per bag?
Asked by Megan
Verified Reply - AngelaThe Giant Ball Dahlia Boom Boom White offer includes 5 tuber clumps. Each clump is planted individually. Each plant will produce dozens of flowers if cut or deadheaded. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Several of my dahlias grew 1-2 ft and then quit! What happened? Is it worth saving the tuber?
Asked by Betty,newbie
Verified Reply - AngelaWe are sorry to hear some of your dahlias didn't perform well. In my experience, voles have been the culprit when my dahlias stop growing. You can usually see the damage on the tubers when you dig them up. You can remove the damaged pieces and the remaining sections will store and grow as normal. Was this answer helpful to you
