Favorite spring show

This patch was interplanted with a bed of hostas, on the north side of my garage in 2021 and have come back reliably as one of my favorite garden spots each spring.

These did beautifully! I planted most under a spruce tree in part sun, and some in deep shade on the north side of the house. Those bloomed a little later & got a bit leggy, but all were robust and delightful. Maybe our unusually mild winter helped. I'm going to order even more for next year.

I had a very bare spot in front of woods and needed some color. This mix is perfect! They were planted very late so I didn't have high hopes of them blooming this year but they ALL bloomed! I highly recommend!

Holding my breath

I can only give a 3 star because they haven't bloomed yet. I hope to be able to change to more stars. It's my fault, not theirs. I ordered them for a landscape project that has taken way too long to be ready for planting anything. They kept well in a cool protected spot, I checked them and they remained plump and in good shape. Then I let them get some cold temps here this last week, soaked them (some are soft) and planted in a different place than intended. If they bloom, or at least some do, then great. If they don't I will re-order this fall and try again. Lesson learned! Still holding my breath and crossing fingers!

Beautiful, but not mixed.

They all grew and bloomed beautifully; but, out of 100 mixed bulbs, one was white, one had an orange inner, and 98 were all yellow.

All grew well and are blooming. My only knock is that all but 1 were identical solid yellow, not mixed like the display picture.
