Good performers. Not 100% bloom but very acceptable and expect results will improve ad they naturalize. Those planted in full sun faded after 2 weeks but those in part shade are still going strong into a 4th week.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

The mixed daffodils have been blooming for over a month and there are still more coming. What a way to brighten my day. I have had bouquets of brilliant yellow in my house for all this time. Can't wait to see what the mixed lilies do. They are coming up a lot more than we planted last fall!

Had a very high bloom rate the first year! The mix was balanced with a good variety. Hoping they naturalize and spread for us next year. A very good purchase for my garden

Great Bloom Rate but more like 1 color 3 kinds

Submitted 2 years ago

By Eyes Bigger than Trowel

From New England

Great emergence and bloom rate, but this mix was almost all yellow and almost all the same variety. Of the 1,000 bulbs purchased, we had maybe 10 white daffodils (nothing special) and a maybe 5 with orange coronas or trumpets. This was our third round of bulk planting from various suppliers. We had already done a large batch of all-whites and a large batch of yellow trumpet and cupped daffodil in prior years so we were looking to add some variety. This "all-kinds, all colors" mix was meant to liven up things. The daffodils we received are robust and healthy, and the bloom rate was excellent this first season, but the variety is sorely lacking.

ALL ARE YELLOW AND SEEM TO BE THE SAME BUT, I WOULD GUESS THAT AT LEAST 95% BLOOMED. VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE AND WILL PROBABLY GET 100 MORE THIS YEAR.

Well, I ordered 300 mixed daffodils altogether. Three different mixes They r pretty. But the first two hundred had a total of maybe 7 total daffys that weren't just plain yellow. The last hundred is satisfactory. Several different daffodils. Not pleased with the first 200.

Merchant Response

Thank you for writing a review of the Mixed Daffodils All Colors and Kinds. We are truly sorry to hear of your disappointment. Please be advised that when items are sold as "mixed", this means it is a completely random selection of all the possible varieties included in the mix. Unfortunately, it is not known ahead of time the exact mixture of varieties you will receive. Regardless, your satisfaction is always our top priority. One of our Customer Care agents will be contacting you soon with a positive resolution.

Bulbs all bloomed as they should with proper planting. Zone four received several late freezes and several heavy snow falls. I was impressed how well these plants held up to the extreme conditions.

Q
Why do several, if not many, reviews come back with the variety being much more limited than advertised or described by you?
Asked by Jerry
Product Owner - kimcl49I don't know about others, but my batch included a mix (I counted at least 4 different kinds.) Different varieties bloom at different times. When naturalizing with daffodils the different kinds come up over a period of time and not all at once. This will make them look thin on the ground especially the first year. Over the years they increase in "bulk" by blooms and foliage. If planted in a flower bed you will need to divide them after 4-5 yrs or they will be too crowded. To naturalize you would plant father apart and each year they will "grow closer" together as the bulbs increase in size and number until you have the mass in the picture. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can these bulbs be planted now in Sebring fl.?
Asked by zike
Product Owner - kimcl49I have planted them in the spring (have even held them over to the next fall but then they aren't as healthy) when i couldn't get them in in the fall. they may not be as "happy" first growth year as when planted in the fall. If you have a way to store them to fall it would be better but storing them can be an issue. Was this answer helpful to you
