The daffodils are in 44 barrels in Coupeville sponsored by the Coupeville Garden. They are gorgeous. Much brighter and fuller than any we have had in at the last 25 years and they don't fall over in our significant wind.

Q
Are these planted in the fall?
Asked by Brigid
Verified Reply - AngelaDaffodils are planted in the fall. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do they bloom each year
Asked by Mike
Verified Reply - AngelaFragrant Daffodil 'Quail' should bloom every year for you. Allow the foliage to die back naturally and don't water the daffodil bed during their summer dormancy. In your area, you are likely to see blooms in late winter. We also suggest feeding the bulbs with Van Bourgondien 100% Natural Bulb Food. https://www.dutchbulbs.com/product/Van-Bourgondien-100-Natural-Bulb-FoodWas this answer helpful to you
Q
how close do you plant the fragrant daffodil jonquil
Asked by susie
Verified Reply - AngelaPlant the 'Quail' Jonquils about 4 to 6 inches apart. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
If I put these in my outside fixed permanent planter do the bulbs have to be dug up & brought in in the fall?
Asked by Angela
Verified Reply - AngelaIf the planter is well insulated and large, your daffodils may be able to overwinter. I have some that do fine in zone 6 in a half whiskey barrel size. If it's a small planter in Wisconsin winters, they will need additional protection. Was this answer helpful to you
