"The Chameleon Tulip" changes from yellow to pink to salmon-orange and creates a spectacular display in the late spring garden. Bouquet Tulip Antoinette often has four flowers per stem, making it ideal for cut-flower bouquets. Blooming in late spring on 18" stems, Antoinette adds beauty and warm, cheerful color to beds and borders and is a great way to extend the tulip season. For maximum impact, plant tulips bulbs in large groups. For the best results, plant tulip bulbs in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade.

I have never been so amazed at the beauty of. Tulip than I was with Antoinette. First she is like a little floribunda with a few blossoms on each stalk. She starts out with pale yellow and over a three week time plus keeps changing from light pink to dark pink.

Beautiful! Many blooms per stem. Looks great in a single vase. Many tulips came up even in my shady areas. This is the first year. I hope these last for next year too. One of my favorites!

This was a wonderful surprise, starting out white with yellow stripes, and ending up yellow with pink/orange/red stripes. I really loved these, and they gracefully curved as they bloomed, adding interest to my photographs.

Questions & Answers

Q&A

Showing 1 out of 1 Questions

Q
Do they return next year?
Asked by pat
Verified Reply - AngelaThe Bouquet Tulip Antoinette is technically a perennial. Tulips can be a little fussy and many gardeners treat them as annuals, planting new bulbs each year. Encourage them to return by fertilizing in the spring and allowing the foliage to die back naturally rather than cutting. Well draining soil is also very important. Was this answer helpful to you
