Double Peony Tulip Dream Touch

Double Peony Tulip Dream Touch

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Late-spring borders sizzle with color thanks to this double tulip. Full, fluffy blooms in a sweet blend of purple and raspberry red are edged in a soft silvery white, giving a glistening effect in the sunlight. The flowers are large at 5" wide, and make fabulously lush cut-flower bouquets. Plant in seasonal mixed beds or borders. Dream Touch pairs nicely with lighter-hued late tulips or peonies.

Update: No blooms in year two

Submitted 11 months ago

By Flower maximalist

From Zone 7a

As an experiment, I let the foliage die back naturally to see if any 'Dream Touch' would return for a second year, but none did. (Figured others would want to know not to bother.) I'm still giving these 5 stars since they were beautiful and long-lasting last spring, and they'd never been advertised as perennial

I just planted these in the fall of last year. They performed well and are already having babies. Start out dark then fade to soft purple with white trim.

Beautiful, strong flowers

Gorgeous, large flowers that survived a heavy rain storm. The white edging becomes more apparent with age (was barely visible at first). 22 out of 25 bloomed.
