Double Tulip Foxy Foxtrot

Double Tulip Foxy Foxtrot

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Our gardening friends fell in love with the luxuriant look of Foxy Foxtrot. This lush double tulip sets seasonal borders and presentation beds aglow with its breathtaking blend of rich honey-gold, sweet peach and saucy apricot hues. Each full, flamboyant bloom features layers of slightly ruffled petals that flair outward to give the flower a decidedly "peony-like" effect. Foxy is one of the first early tulips on the scene each year and boy, does it attract attention! Makes an outstanding cut flower, too.

Came up more soft peach and darkened over time into this bright peach, not quite this orange as shown. Really beautiful.

Only yellow tulips came up, but aged to something beautiful.

*EDIT* I was not happy with the tulips coming up yellow. I still would not have bought them if I had known, but I changed by rating from 1 to 4 stars because of the wonderful customer service. Also, it can't be denied that they have aged into gorgeous tulips. If you like or don't mind straight up yellow for a while, these double tulips are beautiful. *Original* My garden is mostly pinks, whites and salmon. I was purposely not getting yellow, but thought this orange would be a good pop of color contrast for what else I have in my garden. I'm very disappointed that they are all coming up completely yellow! Did I get sent the wrong tulips?? If not, I definitely would not have purchased if I had known they would likely be yellow.

Q
Does this come back like a perinial?
Asked by Rex
Verified Reply - AngelaThe Double Tulip Foxy Foxtrot is technically a perennial. It will likely only return under ideal growing conditions and most gardeners will plant new bulbs each year. If you want to encourage them to return, fertilize after blooming, allow the foliage to die back naturally and keep the site as dry as possible during the dormant summer months. Was this answer helpful to you
