Amazing color and form! Warm yellow, 4" fully double blooms lighten and brighten springtime garden spaces. In fact, Heamoor Double Daffodils are the nicest we've seen! The golden, fluffy flowers resemble lush carnations, making them a choice cut flower for single-variety bouquets or mixed seasonal arrangements. Your customers will love the dazzling hue and dependable flowering in April. They also naturalize readily and return yearly in even greater numbers than before. Heamoor is the perfect selection for a brilliant border or alongside a busy pathway where the double blooms can be best admired. We suggest clustering the bulbs for an extra-special pop of color seen throughout the landscape. Plant in full sun to part shade.

Heamoor's a ball of garden-sunshine

The Heamoor double daffs were the most amazing balls of sunshine in my garden. I think I received a few Heamoors two years ago in a double daffodil mix collection, and their blooms were super-bright and long-lasting. I ordered a bunch of them this year, and they did not disappoint. They hold up well as cut flowers too. I'm hoping that they will naturalize - I'm in Zone 9! These daffodils are fabulous!

The double daffodils were absolutely beautiful. All of my neighbors that had planted daffodils planted singles. The doubles easily stood out as different, large, and vibrant. A great addition to our front yard.

These are STUNNING! They go really well with the regular-cup Carltons & the double Gay Kybos. They're like little radiant chips off the sun! You can't help but feel happy when they bloom. Neighbors have commented how much they enjoy passing by them.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Q&A

Q
Hi Dutch Bulbs, I'm in Zone 9B. Are the narcissus pre-chilled? Do you recommend chilling them before planing? Thanks, Lisa
Asked by Lisa
Product Owner - musicarlaHello! I am in Zone 9A, east of the Houston, Texas.  6 years ago, I started chilling my narcissus bulbs with the tulip bulbs that I bought.  I don't think these bulbs are pre-chilled, because I think they would be labeled as such. The nurseries have narcissus available now, and they say to plant in the fall.  I have a book about growing bulbs on the Gulf Coast, and she says to plant in October and November. One year, I popped mynarcissus in the fridge with my tulips as soon as they arrived.  I think they bloomed better for me, so I have chilled them every year since. After 6 - 8 weeks, I plant them. Several years I have planted them as late as December, and once in early January. but it didn't seem to stop them.  I wish I could tell you how many of my Heamoors have repeated, because I add more each year - However, I know many have repeated because they bloomed in an area where I didn't plant the year before. (hope that makes sense)  I leave themin the ground and every year, it is fun to see what comes up in the spring.   Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Are these annuals or perennials?
Asked by Wayne
Product Owner - musicarlaI am not certain. I live in Zone 9 in the Texas coastal region.  I planted some Heamoor daffs two years ago,and I am positive that some of them repeated this spring.  I have also left Tahiti bulbs in the ground for many years, and they repeat, although they may skip a year. (Tahiti is another double daffodil, but I don't think it is as spectacular as Heamoor) I think that many of the Heamoors I have planted over the last two years will bloom again in the future, but since I will plant morein the fall, I will not know how many actually repeat.  I don't think of daffodils as annuals or perennials, but rather as to whether they will naturalize.  In Zone 9, many bulbs must be treated as annuals, because it doesn't get cold enough during our winters. I pull my tulips every year, and plant new ones, because they do not repeat. I leave my daffodils and dutch iris in the ground, and many do repeat.   Hope my comments make sense!  Good luck! Was this answer helpful to you
