These bulbs came in at a perfect planting time, and the planting was a great success(my opinion). When they blossomed, Wow! These are really beautiful...and being this was the first time I ever planted anything! My wife really loved them! The whole summer I had her kitchen vase filled with these Plum Glads!

I bought this as Plum Tart. The picture is not like advertised but nonetheless it is a beautiful gladiolus. The purple is different every couple of days. Love it.

Sadly I must have been sent something else because they are very orange, purple, and white. Not one plum tart.

One of my favorite glads.

From Charleston, SC.

I buy from Van Bourgondien for more then 10 years. I bought this glad multiple times, last time in 2020. They used to have correct picture of PlumTart gladiolus, but several years ago they switched it to the former picture of Glamini Kate and used new picture for Kate. They still send out the true PlumTart, that is full size luxurious solid deep magenta, no white center. It is one of everyone's favorite glads, goes best with BananaRama (discontinued). Bulbs are always very small compare to other varieties, but they produce full size flowers. Bulbs get bigger every year until thrips destroy them eventually. Sorry, I am not big on taking pictures.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Questions & Answers

Q&A

Showing 1 out of 1 Questions

Q
Your picture for Plum Tart gladiolus is a picture of Priscilla, not Plum Tart. Which are you selling, Plum Tart or Priscilla? Will people get what's in the picture? If so, it's probably OK. But if you show them Priscilla and ship them Plum Tart, they might not like that so well.
Asked by Lance
Verified Reply - KimberlyThe Plum Tart Gladiolus is what we are selling and what is pictured. Eye-catching Gladiolus ‘Priscilla’ is easy to love, the pure white, heavily ruffled flowers are outlined in dark pink and have yellow highlights at the center. Was this answer helpful to you
