Coneflower Pretty Parasols

Coneflower Pretty Parasols

For a unique display of color and form that lasts from early summer to the first fall frost, consider Pretty Parasols Coneflower for borders, cutting gardens or feature beds. Daisylike blooms display a prominent central cone surrounded by white petals graduating to soft pink toward the center. Petals trend downward, giving the flowers the look of… you guessed it, parasols! Growing to varying heights from 28 to 32" tall, a planting of Pretty Parasols resembles wild flowers in a meadow. Q
Can I put all 3 bulbs in the same hole? Or do I need 3 separate holes?
Asked by Sherry
Verified Reply - ViciThese are shipped as dormant bareroot plants. I wouldn't plant them any closer than 12 inches apart to give them room to grow to their full potential. Planting them all in once hole will stunt their growth. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
How big or is the quantity of a #1? I was looking at the cone flowers.
Asked by Paula
Verified Reply - AngelaThe horticultural term #1 plant refers to the top size bareroot plants from the harvest. It is roughly the equivalent of a one gallon potted plant. Was this answer helpful to you
