They were not pastel tulips. All turned out to be orange tulips. I was looking forward to the pastel mix, but they were still pretty.

From Upstate, NY

I bought these in Fall 19 and unfortunately they didn't come up in Spring of 20. I wrote an email to the company and they sent me a replacement with no trouble and wow, I got a spectacular show this spring. Every bulb came up in beautiful pastel covers. I will be purchasing more bulbs from this company. I also bought two other sets of bulbs and they all came up also.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I have a tulip bed in the front around an old oak tree, The colors are beautiful and they mix really well with the other tulips I have planted there. I have totally redone my front landscaping and will be putting more in the back next year. I am really looking forward to it.

Questions & Answers

Q&A

Showing 3 out of 3 Questions

Q
Is that a perennial, or annual, please?
Asked by Nick
Verified Reply - AngelaThe Pastel Mayflowering Tulips are technically perennial but may only return under ideal growing conditions. Many gardeners purchase new bulbs each year to ensure spring color. If you want to encourage them to return, allow the foliage to die back naturally, fertilize after flowering and select a very well draining site. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
CAN i FORCE YOUR TULIP BULBS
Asked by TULIPS
Verified Reply - AngelaThe tulip bulbs can be forced but they are not pre-chilled. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Do tulips reliably return every year? Thanks!
Asked by Karen
Verified Reply - AngelaTulips can return every year with the proper growing conditions. The Darwin Hybrids are the only ones I would say reliably return. Was this answer helpful to you
