Hybrid Gladiolus Passos

Hybrid Gladiolus Passos

Lush plum flowers have deep purple centers touched with just a splash of red. Hybrid Gladiolus Passos features showy flower spikes with 4" wide florets carried along 1 side of the robust stems. Growing up to 5' tall with swordlike foliage, this hybrid variety makes a striking accent in the flower border—and is also valued for its very showy cut flowers. Blooming in July and August, gladiolus grow best in well-drained soil and full sun. Deer tend to avoid. Lift in the fall in zones 3-7.

The ones I got looked nothing like the picture. They were sort of apricot color in the center and greyish purple towards the edges, and not at all attractive.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

These were gorgeous but didn't look like the picture. I was still very happy with them though. Long multiple stalks from each bulb.

These were awesome, and the hummingbirds loved them, too. Very vibrant, but they were more solid/two toned than splotched, but still pretty. Will grow these again.

Love glads. Plant a lot of them for cut flowers. I hope the bulbs produce the flowers that they are suppose to?

Your glads and dahlias have been shared with members of my local garden club and have claimed 1st place in a number of categories at the state fair for several years. The glads are 2-3 times larger than many others and the dahlias that I add to every year winter over very well and increase their display each year. No other firm offers as many unusual varieties of glads and dahlias as K. van Bourgondien.
