I'm ordering more of these because the bees and hummingbirds just love them. Sweet addition to my "messy" style garden.

Disappointed

Submitted 2 years ago

By Kelley

From Houston, TX

I was disappointed when the flowers finally bloomed. The stalks weren't sturdy; many of them laid down on the ground, and the flowers were less than impressive. Maybe they'll do better next year?

Merchant Response

We have an excellent No-Risk Guarantee on our plants, so one of our Customer Care agents will be reaching out to you soon with a positive resolution.

By Robin

this is such a pretty little flower I love the color and how tall it grew - maybe 20 inches - the flower heads did droop just enough to make it harder to see the pretty inside colors .. maybe next year I will tie them up

The 'WOW' Factor

Submitted 4 years ago

By Deb

From Oak Island, NC

Love this strangely beautiful flower. Mine was planted in a bed that's raised about 24" from pathway which worked out great with the downward facing blooms. It's the flower that always got a 'what is that?' reaction from visitors. Also good for the pollinators. I'm ordering more!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

When I saw the picture of these I thought they'd be a compliment in my Alium and Fritilaria bed. They look very much like Crown Imperials. This plant is new for me. I look forward to seeing its blooms. They may need a stronger color as an accent nearby. Will see!

Other than the bulbs are the stinkiest of the Allium's, I love this plant. It keeps away the bad bugs because of the stench. It is also very pretty in my garden. Attracts bees to the flower that seem to have a type of liquid in them.
