Gold Band Oriental Lily

Gold Band Oriental Lily

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
Lower growing lily adds cheer and fragrance to the summer garden. Growing 24" tall, Oriental Lily Gold Band's white flowers feature eye-catching bright yellow stripes down the center of each petal. Because they only reach 24" tall, they need less staking to stay upright. Oriental lilies are favored by florists for summer bouquets and bridal centerpieces. Blooming in mid to late summer, later in the season than most other lilies, these exotic beauties are truly spectacular in color and flower size. For best results, plant lily bulbs in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade.

All bloomed with at least three flowers per flower stalk, if I remember correctly. They looked spectacular, and had a pleasant scent, not too strong. I cut them and put them in a vase while some of the flowers on each stalk were still in bud, and the flowers lasted for some time.

Gold Band is gorgeous and vigorous. However, you cannot go by the suggested mature height of 24". All of mine are a full 32" tall. Bear that in mind when planting.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
