Do not do well in zone 8B. Out of the 250 dahlia bulbs planted (Border Dahlias Mixed, Decorative Dahlia Heatwave, Boarder Decorative Dahlia Go Go Purple, Dark Leafed Sunshine Dahlia )in May, I only was able to harvest 60 flowers worth putting in an arrangement by October 20.

These Dahlias produced some of the most beautiful flowers and they just kept going until the frost. I love them and look forward to planting them again next spring.

It is really hard to grow dahlia's where I live. We have a short season generally a hard freeze by mid Sept. Not this year Dahlia's are still beautiful into Oct. Envy of all my neighbors. These Dahlias are great

I received a light lavender and a large coral as 2 of these. the 3rd one has not yet bloomed. I think it did not get enough sun where I planted it. Very happy with the lavender and coral.
