The Allium caeruleum (azureum) boasts unusual flax-blue flower heads, approx. 1½" in diameter. Blooming in June - July, they will attract pollinators to your garden but not deer. Carefree and rewarding, alliums will tolerate poor garden soil; once established, they will naturalize easily. Alliums are deer resistant and make excellent cut flowers.

These are small and are a true blue. I planted them 2 years ago around the edge of a rose garden and they looked very pretty. They came back even better the second year.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

These were supposed to be 18" tall so I planted them on the outside edge of the raised rose bed. They towered over the Purple Rain (which were supposed to be three to four feet tall) that are in the center of that bed. The blue flowers are a nice change of pace from all the purple alliums available. The little 2" blooms did look a little silly on top of the three foot stalks.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Loved them

I bought these not knowing what to expect, to the point that I had forgotten about them. One day I go outside and there was hints of blue everywhere, I loved it. They are small but they were a big statement, at least for me. I definitely recommend them, the blue color was perfect for my garden. Will try to take a picture next year to add.

Alliums and Dutch Bulbs

I have been adding to my front garden for 5 years in the hopes that it would be pretty maintenance free. I love Alliums for their simplicity their quickness to replenish their numbers and for it's rabbit dissuading properties. in fact I have a family that live in mine and have never taken 1 bite. I think that I probably have at this point 12 varieties, I did not have any blue so this along with the gladiator alliums I bought added drama and a big color variations. I strongly recommend them and this company. I have never been dissatisfied with anything they have sold me or their price. Highly recommend!

of the 15 I planted, two came up, so small and sickly I thought they were wild onions. This is why I am no longer ordering from you.

Delicate and lovely, but rather overwhelmed by the tall grasses with which they were inter-planted.

Whimsical and actually BLUE

From ME

These can be a little temperamental, but once they find the right spot, they are adorable and grow well They like part-shade, the ones that are planted in full sun do not open to full round balls, but those in partial shade open to full 2 inch blue balls on 3-4 ft sturdy but swaying stems. These bloom at the end of June and beginning of July, when there's not a lot of color in my gardens, and I have them planted around (soon-to-bloom) yellow lilies/Stella D's- the combo is striking. Taller gladiolus are planted behind them all for a later summer bloom. These are a cute variety of Allium, patience pays off for these silly whimsically little blue balls that dance around in the wind.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
