Striking Elvira features very pale pink blooms accented by red kiss-like markings on each velvety petal, creating a wonderful display of color and form from mid to late summer. This winter-hardy glad returns yearly in zones 5-10, providing stunning color, texture and beauty to the landscape. Each robust stem bears up to 6 buds that open from the bottom up. A visual treat as a presentation display or as a welcome addition to cut-flower bouquets. Blooms last up to two weeks, giving nearby pollinators plenty of time to visit.

We take advanced orders, and as the crops are harvested, our staff of K. van Bourgondien experts makes an on-the-spot selection of the finest bulbs available to fill those reservations.

Not all grew as expected - two locations. one was a fail as deer and rabbits ate them. other location, marginal results. The ones that did grow looked good but expected more.

The leaves grew, but they never bloomed. I was disappointed and I hope they'll do better next year.
