Vivid, bold colors create a breath-taking display in mid spring. Apeldoorn and Golden Apeldoorn Tulip Combo is a random mix of red and yellow flowers. Growing 22-24" tall, these "Giants of the Garden" were developed as a result of crossing the Single Late (Darwin and Cottage) Tulips with the Early Fosteriana Tulips. Truly exceptional, they are among the most weather resistant of all garden tulips with large, 5" flowerheads on strong stems. These statuesque beauties have exceptional perennial qualities and will produce many lovely giant flowers year after year with proper care. We recommend fertilization twice a year with our 100% Natural Bulb Food to improve their perennial nature.

Apeldoorn has been around for years and is very reliable. I planted these in a raised bed at Mom's senior living place in northern Michigan. The residents absolutely loved them and the blooms were longer lasting than the usual Darwin hybrids.

Thank you so much for the red and gold tulips. While I did this personally, it'd be great if we had a deal to the entire town to plant in the fall. Help #Bernardstownshipday in the Sping.

There are no red tulips. Huge ripoff

Submitted 3 years ago

By Disappointed customer

From Maryland

I bought 1000 of this package, which is supposed to be a red/yellow mix. I spent days planting them. They just bloomed, and there are exactly 3 red tulips out of the entire 1000. The rest are all yellow. Very disappointed. Huge waste of money and time. I have demanded a refund.
