But its true claim to fame has to be the eye-catching, blackish-red foliage that complements the flowers perfectly. First of all, I didn't receive the single flowered dahlia dahlegria bicolors I ordered. I expected red and yellow flowers. What I got was purple! Very pretty but not what I ordered.

Colorful though not long lasting blooms. beautiful burgandy foliage but plants are taller than expected for a border dahlia. 2 1/2 feet or more instead of 20-24 inches.
