Budd's Yellow Twig Dogwood is a fast-growing shrub that adds year-round interest to gardens and landscapes. Planting this shrub as a flowering hedge along property boundaries and walkways is a great way to give landscapes a professional look. This multi-stemmed shrub grows 5-8 ft. tall and has a 4 ft. spread. In the spring, its yellow-white flowers open and attract butterflies. In the fall, its variegated green and yellow leaves deepen to an eye-catching red. In the winter, its bright yellow stems add color and interest to the landscape. Deer tend to pass it by. Yellow Twig Dogwood grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, well-drained, neutral to acidic soil.
