Talk about a drama queen! This extraordinary Asiatic Lily creates an impressive sight in the summer landscape, especially when displayed in groups. Royal Kiss bears breathtaking near-black blooms during the warmer weeks of June and July. But the scene changes when the sun hits the delicate, reflexed petals—now it shows as its true hue of deep, dark maroon red. Either way, Royal Kiss is a regal variety that stands tall on stems up to 3½' tall—ideal for back borders or fence line plantings. We like it in large groups where the eye-catching color can be seen and admired… even from a distance.
