Charming and truly unique, Sweet Nymph Double Amaryllis will dazzle with its large, up to 8", double pink flowers with white veins. Each bloom is different and a beauty all its own. Growing 16-20" tall, this amaryllis makes a wonderful holiday gift and will brighten winter days with its colorful blooms. Amaryllis bulbs add an exotic flair—and are a favorite for forcing indoors. Most amaryllis bulbs will bloom about 6-8 weeks after planting. For Christmas blooms, plant the amaryllis bulbs around the end of October to early November; for Thanksgiving blooms, plant the bulbs around the beginning of October.

Purchased by our garden club members for a December 15 to January 15 challenge, these double amaryllis were beautiful. Although they took longer to bloom than bulbs we had purchased in previous years sadly causing some of this year's entries to miss the deadline, the blooms were magnificent. These amaryllis were outstanding, pink with white tinges. Very simple to grow. Put each in a small ceramic pot and in about a week began putting up shoots and then about a month they began to flower. Each putout three shoots over time. Just beautiful.
