Uniquely colored, 4" flowers invite garden visitors to take a closer look. Shaker's Prayer Siberian Iris features light blue-purple and white flowers, light blue-purple arms and yellow-red throats. They're stunning in cut-flower displays. A favorite for planting along the edges of ponds, streams and boggy areas, Siberian Iris are easy to grow, naturalize well and have a tall, graceful appearance with slim, grassy foliage. Waited 3-4 years but worth it; These iris require patience.

I bought Shaker's Prayer 4 years ago. I put them in on a well-draining, full morning sun partial shade hillside, Zone 6a, and nothing. The next year, barely a glimpse and the deer trampled them. The third year, I went to dig them up and wow! Not only were they alive, they've come in full force! Once they finally establish, they are tenacious and they fill in well. My experience has been to give them MUCH more time than suggested. Hope this helps!

I was happy to see the roots/tubers of this iris in good shape when it arrived. Time will only tell if roots are what I ordered and plants stay healthy to bloom time.

Hands down, my favorite iris!

I receive several gardening catalogs that feature dozens of iris varieties, but this is by far my favorite. It took a couple of seasons to get established, which is why my garden frog looks impatient. But now that they're in bloom, he's given up his gazing ball for the irises.

These were nice root clumps still mostly dormant. I've got them potted up and they are greening up fast. Another spectacular-looking bloom I can wait to see in person.
