Award-winning rebloomer has lushly ruffled petals in warm orange hues and a delicate fragrance. Growing 34" tall with 5" flowers, Reblooming German Iris Penny Lane adds elegance and beauty to the garden and the vase. It blooms in mid to late spring and reblooms in late summer to early fall. Whether planted in masses or in the mixed bed, Penny Lane brightens areas with its vividly colored flowers. A hardy perennial, Penny Lane is resistant to drought, disease and insects. Deer tend to pass it by. For best results, plant in full sun to partial shade.

Planting Instructions:
Set rhizome so bottom half is below ground level. Firm well and water thoroughly. Plant where they will get at least 5 hours of sun per day. -

Pruning Instructions:
Remove spent flower stems after blooming. In late fall, cut back foliage to 6" fans. Clean plant debris before winter to prevent borers overwintering.

I love it. It truly is a rebloomer. So far it has stood up to the heat of 8b area.
Disappointing
I really searched for orange since I'm a Syracuse University alumni. Sadly I wasted my money but only ordered five ad a trial, with the intention of ordering many more for a huge display. I had a professional gardener install them. Only one appears to have any life! Disappointing.

- Verified Reply - AngelaPenny Lane German Iris should return and bloom for many years in zones 4 to 9. The plants perform best if they are divided every 3 to 4 years to prevent crowding. Was this answer helpful to you
