Non-Stop Begonia White

Non-Stop Begonia White

100%
of respondents would recommend this to a friend
A great begonia for illuminating window boxes and low borders! White Non-Stop Begonia produces an abundance of bright, white flowers in July and just keeps producing masses of flowers until the first fall frost. The perfectly formed, medium-sized, double flowers grow on vigorous plants with a real dwarf growing habit, making them wind resistant. They start flowering very early...flower buds actually appear with the first leaves. White Non-Stop Begonias are impressive when planted with other white flowers in moon gardens—or mix with other flower colors. These deer-resistant flowers are also ideal for planting in groups of three as focal points or in patio tubs.

Nice, but not for windy area!

These grew well, however, they are also very brittle and did not hold up well to several thunderstorms which had very strong winds! Plants broke off at soil level. Also, I had mostly single blooms and very few doubles. Perhaps not the best for NETN!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Q
Do these bulbs have to be taken up in the fall?
Asked by John
Verified Reply - AngelaNon-Stop Begonias should be lifted from the ground in the fall in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8. They should be stored in a frost free location and planted again the following spring. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
I'm interested in ordering these begonias but the reviews are not good. Is there an issue with the quality?
Asked by pat
Verified Reply - ViciI don't believe there is a problem with the quality. Begonias can take up to 8 weeks to sprout and if they are not planted early enough to develop flowers, they may not bloom. Using a good fertilizer that has a higher phosphorus to promote flowers and not higher nitrogen that promotes leaves can help as well. Was this answer helpful to you
