This is a stunning amaryllis, a beautiful Christmas-y-red with 5, possibly more, buds that bloomed-- would make a superb, welcome Christmas present to give joy to anyone on your holiday gift list.

Disappointed

Disappointed. It took a long time to start then grew a little, bloom started when 6 inches tall as it was falling over. I had two in one container and the other did the same thing. I will stick to outdoor plants.

Great bulbs for the winter months

I bought 3 of these Amaryllis bulbs. The flowers are a beautiful bright red. One bulb is ready to send up its third flower stalk! One has sent up 2 stalks and the third bulb has sent up its first stalk. I will be having blooms for a long time. Also, the stems are short, so the plants don't topple over.

Incredible height. 28 inches from bottom of pot to top of flower head, and a second stalk is growing. I potted it the last week of October, and it bloomed the first week of February in time for my Valentine table. This is the best red amaryllis that I have ever grown, and I'm 74 years old.

Three bulbs and one surprise. Two were as expected, brilliant red single flowers on medium height stems, lovely. The third was short stemmed, ruffled, with velvety dark red flowers that sparkled in light. Don't know what the variety is, but very happy to have it!

They were absolutely beautiful. I got 12 for Christmas and gave them away for gifts to my family. Everyone loved them. They are a gift that kept on giving because they continued to bloom.
