Gorgeous!

Submitted 2 years ago

By Karen

From Newport Beach, CA

The bare roots were robust and grew vigorously. A month later, stunning! The only reason for 4 stars is the Lupinus are purple and not a color mix, as shown. Nevertheless, they are beautiful and dense in the way I planted (look like the photo except purple). I always search for bare roots, tubers, bulbs instead of plants because I believe they are stronger and grow better, which I always can find from K. van Bourgondien. I strongly recommend.

I ordered two sets expecting to get Lupines much like our native ones. Although I didn't get the other colors they all bloomed and were huge. I will keep buying them.

Healthy roots sprouted quickly

By JDA

From Waynesville, NC

I ordered this mix and planted appropriately in a mulch covered mound of soil and compost. All five roots looked healthy, with new growth showing on arrival. After 10 days I have green leaves on each. We've had a healthy amount of rain, which I am sure has helped. As of now it appears each plant is healthy. I look forward to seeing what colors I have received.

Spring bulbs and others

I have ordered from your company for years. Your bulbs have performed well and lasted for years in my acidic soil. They are also of good size and are always vigorous. I also have ordered your Glad and they come up every year without lifting them. I do mulch them well, though.

Very disappointed

By Don't have one

From Oak Creek, WI

Terrible experience. Ordered early, received 3 plants (so small, not worth planting). Received second order, very small plants and they charged me again. The price was over $20.00. Plants are so small, not sure they will make it thru Wisconsin winters. Very disappointed. I tried contacting, with no luck. Feel we should have not been billed twice. Will not order with this company anymore. Always seems to be a problem. I really love lupines.

Merchant Response

We guarantee our merchandise, your satisfaction is our first and top priority.
