Bold and beautiful, up to 5" flowers are a standout in bouquets and cut-flower displays. Karma Dahlia Yin Yang's flowers feature purple-red petals tipped in pure white. We first came across Karma dahlias while visiting the trial gardens of the Verwer Brothers. Karma dahlias were developed for the cut-flower market in Holland because of their extraordinarily strong stems and almost iridescent colors. We love them both in vases and in the garden. Growing up to 40" tall, they bloom from midsummer to the first fall frost. Deer tend to avoid.

Beautiful blooms

Beautiful blooms once it got going. It was slow to start but that may be more about where I planted it than the plant itself. The blooms are beautiful and I have received multiple compliments.

The blooms are prettier than the pictures. Unfortunately only one of the five clumps produced anything. Three clumps were really healthy. Two clumps had tubers that were broken off of the mother tuber. May be the reason why they didn't produce anything. I dug the tubers up recently. Still plump tubers but I guess they didn't have eyes.
