A beauty in the garden and cut-flower displays, Giant Orienpet Lily Pretty Woman features up to 8" flowers that start yellow-pink and change to creamy white. Their fragrance perfumes the summer air. Pretty Woman is a cross between the exotic Orientals and regal trumpet lilies. Orientals are known for their fragrance, spectacular color and flower size. Trumpets are known for their trumpet-shaped flowers, they naturalize well and are easy to grow. The sturdy stems on these lilies can reach a height of 3-4', with large, sweet-smelling blooms 3-6" in size in the first year alone. By the second year, they can shoot up to 5-6', and within three years these lilies can reach as high as 6-8' with masses and masses of beautiful blooms to enjoy. The surge in height of these lilies is owed to their extraordinary ability to produce multiple stems from a single bulb.

Great plant

Submitted 11 months ago

By Linda

From South Carolina

I bought Pretty Women & Giant Hybrid Lily Orange Planet last year. They all grew and had beautiful flowers. They made it through our unusually cold winter and are growing like crazy they have even multiplied. Very happy with my purchase. I have just bought the Hardy Tall Phlox to plant with my lily's and will see how they do. Looking forward to seeing the results.

They all grew and bloomed except one. It grew up a couple inches in the spring and then died back. They also need some support. They are very top heavy and even light winds will lay them over.. with braces, no issues.

Asked by MandaBear
