Survived the longer than usual transport
Ordered during the Pandemic because shops were closed or out of stock, (in the USA). I figured nothing ventured - nothing gained! The bare roots arrived, and because the transport probably took longer (mail was very slow, packages backed up due to the onslaught of mail orders), the plants had very leggy beginnings. But, they have taken off in two locations in my garden. It's only been a little over a month, but the plants have already caught up in size to other geraniums that got a late start in my garden this year. They are not yet ready to produce flower buds, but I love the different foliage. So far I'm very pleased.
Slow starter, terrific second year
Year one, I thought they didn't grow at all. I declared them DOA. Year two, and my goodness, they look magnificent! Glad I gave them a chance. They look lovely, and mound beautifully. I haven't done a thing to them since planting, so would consider them very low maintenance. The flowers are plentiful and a beautiful purple blue. I'm very pleased.
