Intensely sweet fragrance and beautifully unique, salmon pink-apricot blooms make Fragrant Hyacinth Gipsy Queen a great addition to window boxes, containers, beds and borders. Growing 12" tall, Gipsy Queen also makes a wonderful informal accent among perennials or ground covers. Blooming in early to mid spring, hyacinths are treasured for their fragrance and color. Hyacinth bulbs are easy to grow and perform best when planted in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to pass them by.

Gave some away and kept some. Everyone enjoyed the bulbs and the glass bulb holders. All of us had the same problem with the blooming. It appeared that they were about to open and then nothing happened. Smelled good anyway!

They Smell Like Heaven

These hyacinths are extremely fragrant. My hyacinths were not as orange as those pictured, boo hoo. However, they were a coral pink which I prefer to the cool-pink one usually sees. I have purchase more of them to put in other parts of my gardens, making all of them smell like heaven next Spring. Oh yes and by the way, HOORAY!!!!! the dear deer DO NOT eat them. Yippee!!!!!

Pretty peach color
Not as orange as in the photo, more like a pink/peach but still beautiful. All game up, though the blooms are a little thin. Looking forward to next spring when they are hopefully more robust.
